PROBLEM  Existing gas manufacturing and distribution operations in Hawaii are not able to provide a renewable product to customers.

SOLUTION  Hawaii Gas will test and evaluate the processing of various types of bio-oil feedstocks and assess the process scalability in a newly installed pilot production plant.
